It is through our shared efforts that we find our potential. Our time together gives meaning to our collective journey, builds community and contributes to our shared success. The Hutto community is vibrant and caring, I truly believe that Hutto is a wonderful place to live. I am constantly heartened and inspired by the many folks in Hutto who work every day to help make our city a great place to call home. They're not always visible, but there is a small army of volunteers that work behind the scenes on a daily basis to help those in need, to beautify Hutto, to volunteer on commissions, serve social welfare organizations, help in our schools, organize recreation and wellness clubs, and to manage a host of other service-centered organizations. I will utilize a position on City Council to advance and improve collaboration and cooperation between the city and the many non-governmental organizations and groups working to improve our city and our shared experience. We are, truly, all in this together.

Problem Solving - Hutto Traffic

You deserve a council member with political courage and the conviction to get the job done.

𝐇𝐞𝐲 𝐇𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐨! You want traffic 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘧 𝘰𝘯 𝘏𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘸𝘢𝘺 79 and improved mobility city wide? Consider taking the following steps to mitigate traffic on 79 and improve traffic flows throughout town.

  • Work with the county and TxDot to design and implement a transportation plan for Hutto that positions Hutto to thrive in the rapid growth climate Williamson County is expected to see over the next 20 years and more.
  • Prioritize widening Limmer Loop
  • Build an off ramp northbound 130 at Limmer Loop
  • Build and on ramp southbound 130 at Limmer Loop
  • Reroute 1660 so that it passes east of town, northward to Chandler Rd, with a traffic light at 79
  • Widen Ed Schmidt northward toward Chandler Rd
  • Widen 1660 North, at least to the 9th Grade Center

Functional traffic flows are vital for our first responders, for commercial interests, and for our daily lives about town. As a city council member and public servant, I will commit to a thorough, thoughtful, and pragmatic road improvement plan. The future viability of Hutto is at stake. We must act with a purpose, 𝙗𝙤𝙡𝙙𝙡𝙮, 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙮. We must be stewards of the future.

New Nature Trail at Creekside Park in Hutto

Investing in and Conserving Hutto's Green Spaces

"Study nature, love nature, stay close to nature. It will never fail you." - Frank Lloyd Wright

Enhancing Our Parks, Trails, and Natural Beauty

Hutto is growing fast, but that doesn’t mean we have to wait years for quality parks and trails. While multi-million dollar park projects are on the horizon, we must act now to acquire land, develop nature trails, and make better use of our existing resources.
I believe that Hutto deserves and am actively working towards,

  •  Expanding walking, biking, and nature trails
  •  Protecting native plants, trees, and green spaces
  • Creating more recreational opportunities for all ages
  • Engaging volunteers and utilizing the Parks Department to make progress now

Hutto isn’t just a great place for business—it should also be a place where families can enjoy weeknight walks, weekend playdates, and Sunday picnics. Through thoughtful planning and community collaboration, we can build a Hutto that embraces both growth and nature.
